New paths towards Data Spaces and Trusted and Industrial AI: Outcomes of the 48th community workshop

Every 4-8 weeks the BDVA community members and collaboration partners come together to discuss and progress on topics of common interest. These regular gatherings are called the BDVA activity group meetings/workshops. The 48th Activity Group meeting (AG48) took place last February 8th, 2022, with discussion topics on Data Technology architectures, Data protection, Data Spaces and AI standards combined with pitches from members and presentations from collaboration partners.

BDVA/DAIRO and EUHubs4Data workshops bring Data Platforms projects together to support Data Space development

BDVA/DAIRO and EUHubs4Data (European Federation of Data Driven Innovation Hubs) organises a series of workshops to bring ICT-13 and other Data Platform projects closer to data markets. The next event is held on February 1st, focussing on federating assets (data sets and services) from data platform projects, how to interoperate those and to share best practices for data spaces implementation.

EBDVF 2021 session videos published – watch over 60 inspiring panels and talks online!

European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF) 2021 had 65 sessions and 334 speakers discussing topics of adoption of industrial and trustworthy AI, data spaces, platforms, societal impacts, manufacturing, smart cities, healthcare and many others. DSBA brokering event a huge success - supports community efforts to develop Data Spaces

On 16th of December, BDVA/DAIRO, FIWARE, Gaia-X and IDSA (Data Spaces Business Alliance) organised an online brokering event with the participation of European Commission. The event gave an overview of the upcoming Data Spaces calls of the Digital Europe Programme and provided an platform for the participants to find partners and pitch in 12 sessions dedicated to different verticals.

BDVA/DAIRO welcomes 9 new members!

On December 9th 2021 the BDVA/DAIRO General Assembly has officially accepted 9 new members from 7 different countries joining the association. The new Full members are Ingka Services AB, IKEA, Kadir Has University, Pangeanic BI Europa SL, Porini Srl and University of Amsterdam and the new Associate members are AI Sweden, BEIA Consult International, TİGA BİLGİ TEKNOLOJİLERİ A.Ş., and University of Oulu. BDVA/DAIRO warmly welcomes the organisations!
