BDVA welcomes 11 new members

On the 27th June 2019, the BDVA General Assembly officially welcomed 11 new members, among which there are 5 Full Members and 6 Associate Members. New members come from 9 different countries: Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Spain, Switzerland and UK.

We are happy to welcome the following FULL MEMBERS (in alphabetical order):

  • am-LAB – Advanced Manufacturing Digital Innovation Hub, provides a one-stop-shop solution for companies of the manufacturing sector, providing know-how and access to digital technologies – collaborative robot, indoor drone, autonomous robot, hololens, virtual twinning, 3Dmodeling, 3Dprinting, sensor technology.
  • Bournemouth University, is engaged in many national and international big data research programmes funded by industry and public organisation including the European Commission, UK research councils and other public organisation such as the UK National Health Service. 
  • GFT Italia S.r.l., is a business change and technology consultancy trusted by the world’s leading financial services institutions. The Co-Innovation Lab "Digital Finance Innovation Lab (DFiL)", a joint laboratory between GFT and FBK, aims to establish a strategic and structured collaboration, both scientific and technological, aimed at digital innovation in the "FinTech" sector.  
  • Plan4all, a non-profit association sustaining and further enhancing results of multiple research and innovation projects. Plan4all aggregates large open datasets related to planning activities in different specialisms including spatial planning, transport, urban planning, environment, tourism and precision/autonomous farming.
  • Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center, has completed 200+ applied IT related projects in EU Framework Programmes and the majority of these projects were related to big data analysis, processing, reuse, service development. PSNC leads the first Polish fully operational Digital Innovation Hub - HPC4Poland - dedicated to building advanced services on top of big data infrastructures and competences.

  • Institut de Recherche en Informatique de Toulouse, is the largest computer science laboratory in France.  IRIT contributes to policy, education, and technology development in the fields of data, HPC, and AI-driven digital transformation through its seven departments, of which four are directly working on these fields. IRIT has been chosen as one of the four French Interdisciplinary AI Institutes recommended in the Villani report.
  • PRAGSIS TECHNOLOGIES S.L., is a Spanish IT consulting service company specialized in Big Data, AI and Data Analytics projects and services.
  • Squalio (DPA SIA), is a Latvian ICT and data services group specializing in software licensing and software asset management services, as well as delivering progressive cloud and data services to customers. Squalio also established a not for profit movement called Country#196, which aims at resolving pressing issues of data economy and AI adoption within societies.
  • SUPSI (Scuola Universitaria Professionale della Svizzera Italiana), is one of the nine professional universities in Switzerland. The BDVA related activities in SUPSI are Big Data and Data Science for Industry 4.0 Modeling, simulation, integration of factory data, Self learning machine, predictive maintenance,  Deep Learning, Use of Analytics and Big Data in Education and many others.
  • Three Points Education S.L., is a business school specilized in online education on digital transformation areas in business. They carry out Master program in Big Data and Master program in Artificial Intelligence. 
  • Ticbiomed, is a business association that promotes collaborative projects in digital health. We facilitate open-innovation agreements between different eHealth stakeholders. They promote the identification of Health challenges that can be solved by using AI.
