New BDVA white paper illustrates how AI and big data are transforming the financial sector

The white paper by BDVA Task Force 7 focuses on the main ongoing challenges to understanding how AI can be a real catalyst for the transformation of the financial sector. It investigates emerging solutions across the EU, looking at the Digital Finance ecosystems and the transformative trends toward future innovative research in this field.

 

KRAKEN gives users the control of personal and sensitive data sharing

The KRAKEN project is finishing soon, successfully piloting secure data sharing. The project has built an online service enabling sharing, brokerage, and trading of sensitive personal data privately. The solutions include platform and data marketplace, and provides citizens with control of their data through a mobile app.

BDVA Activity Group meetings are back on-site: join AG50 in Brussels!

The fiftieth BDVA Activity Group meeting will take place on Wednesday 21st of September in Brussels. Representatives from the European Commission will join to present the Digital Decade Policy Programme and give updates on topics such as EDIHs, the implications for digital innovation hubs and Digital Skills. Data and AI standardisation workshop by the BDVA, EUH4D and EC contributed to the 2022 rolling plan

BDVA, EUHubs4Data project and the European Commission organised the workshop “Data/AI Standards and European rolling plan for ICT standardisation 2023” to share knowledge about the developments from projects and ongoing initiatives concerning their contribution to (pre-) standardization activities. 

BDVA introduces the potential of i-Spaces in the Spanish Regulatory Sandbox on AI launch event

Government of Spain and the European Commission organised an event in Brussels to launch Spain’s pilot for a Regulatory Sandbox on Artificial Intelligence (AI) with the objective of “Bringing the AI Regulation Forward”. The BDVA Secretary-General, Ana García Robles, participated in the panel “AI regulatory sandboxes: a tool to support innovation and trustworthy AI”.
