SYNTACTIC: a “one-stop-shop” for reliable synthetic data

The consortium comprising 26 partners from 13 different countries covers different perspectives, from industry to SME, Universities and Research and Innovation organisations to associations. This diversity offers the perfect ground for tackling the challenge at hand with an all-encompassing approach towards a result, abiding regulation while fostering European competitiveness on a global market.  

SYNTACTIC stands for a holistic synthetic data lifecycle platform towards next generation auto-compliance. The project aims to create a “one-stop-shop” platform to ensure reliability, compliance and suitability of synthetic data, for domains of high sensitivity and little data. 

The project is not just about creating a “synthetic data generator”, but also, about providing a system for validation, integration and compliance. The solutions will be validated in practice along six pilots in different domains that have been selected: 

• Telecom 

• Maritime 

• Green Deal 

• Finance 

• Aerospace 

• Health 

 BDVA is grateful to be part of this initiative and aims to provide strong links with its Task Forces and with Data and AI ecosystems to ensure a broad involvement of different stakeholders, adding to what the consortium already incorporates.  

For this reason BDVA will play a key role in  supporting the project’s holistic approach and definition of requirements to validate the project thanks to its wide network and Task Forces.  The project receives  7 499 429.50 EURO in funding from the European Commission and will be executed during the upcoming 36 months.
