BDVA, as an industry-driven research and innovation organisation with a mission to develop an innovation ecosystem that enables the data-driven and AI-enabled digital transformation of the economy and society in Europe, stands alongside the other undersigned associations, open and ready to further discuss the design of FP10 with the EU Institutions.

We are convinced that Europe has much better potential in the global innovation race than what it is currently performing. New and more effective ways of public-private collaboration are needed to efficiently transfer excellent research results into competitiveness for industries. Identifying innovative and effective mechanisms to bring value to European industry should be a priority. In order to keep its position as a model of economic and social prosperity, Europe must make significant investments in pan-European collaborative RD&I. This will promote cooperation, drive technological advancement and harness the expertise of both public and private RD&I actors. Such efforts are essential to enhance Europe’s competitiveness, establish leadership in critical technological areas and ensure a prosperous and sustainable future.
