INCLUDE stands for Integrated cloud, edge and device stakeholder alignment and aims to establish Europe as a leader in digital infrastructure through the creation of a harmonised, sovereign and open Telco-Edge-Cloud ecosystem.

BDVA is proud to be one of the project partners of the INCLUDE consortium, providing access to the European Data and AI ecosystem and its roadmapping capabilities to consolidate Stakeholder Priorities as well as Requirements & Convergence of the most relevant technology areas.

During the kick-off meeting the partners met at the EURESCOM headquarters in Heidelberg, where they were able to further refine the shared vision and define the next actions to lay the ground for the time to come.

The initiative is a direct response to the need for end-to-end digital infrastructure linking technical large-scale pilots and the open-source community with a strategic roadmap.

Based on real-world market trends and bringing together expectations from practitioners, INCLUDE aims to coordinate and foster the creation of a European converged, interoperable and open Telco-Edge-Cloud infrastructure through seamless engagement between supply and demand.

To reach this goal the project will define a roadmap and a shared governance framework accompanied by suitable tools and open-source integration mechanisms.  Integrating an engaged ecosystem in experimentation and demonstration activities will ensure the suitability of developed building blocks for real-world applications.

The consortium comprises of 9 partners, Eurescom GmbH, Telefonica S.A., 6G SNS Infrastructure Association, Data, AI and Robotics (DAIRO) aisbl (BDVA), Alliance for IoT and Edge Computing Innovation IVZW (AIOTI), BLUSPECS S.L, Martel GmbH, Eclipse Foundation AISBL and Trust-IT Services SRL.
The project has a duration of 36 months and receives 2,5 Mio Euro from the Horizon Europe program of the European Commission.
