Europe’s premier spring event of the Data and AI-driven innovation community, Data Week 2025, is charting its course toward Athens for a two-day deep dive into the future of data value creation. Registration is now officially open!
So, make sure to REGISTER NOW!
Data Week will be a 2-day physical event taking place in Athens, Greece between 27-28 May. The event is organised by the Big Data Value Association, hosted by Cosmote – OTE and in collaboration with the following BDVA members: Athens Technology Center S.A. (ATC), Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS), CORE Innovation Center, Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications – National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos”, FORTH and Neuropublic. This collective effort showcases the power of collaboration in pushing the frontiers of European data-driven innovation.
Held under the theme “Odyssey of AI: Navigating the Data Seas,” Data Week 2025 draws literary inspiration from Homer’s Odyssey, symbolising the long and intricate journey of harnessing data’s full potential. As Odysseus navigated stormy seas and mythical challenges, today’s data pioneers are charting new territories in Artificial Intelligence, data ecosystems and value-driven innovation.
Data Week showcases a dynamic and multidisciplinary programme, designed to reflect the depth and breadth of the data and AI ecosystem. Participants will benefit from high-level sessions across key topics such as: the fundamental elements of Data Value creation, as Artificial intelligence (AI) serves as a pivotal tool in unlocking data value through various means, requiring an ecosystem perspective and fostering collaboration among multiple stakeholders, laying the groundwork needed for research excellence, that is required to be rapidly put into action for competitiveness and societal benefit, Data Spaces – Building the infrastructure for data-driven collaboration, the interoperability aspect and generating value out of data spaces, Interoperability – Enabling scalable, AI solutions – given the ability of different information systems, applications, and devices to exchange, interpret, and use data, i-Spaces – aiming at accelerating the data-driven innovation in commercial sectors, Manufacturing – the latest updates from the European industry, AI Ethics – addressing transparency, fairness and trust, AI Factories – a hot topic that can not be ignored, as AI Factories leverage the supercomputing capacity of the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking to develop trustworthy cutting-edge generative AI models, Synthetic Data – innovating breakthroughs in the field, Compliance – get the latest information on the data handling, processing and storage adhering to legal, regulatory and industry standards, AI & Computing Continuum – Exploring edge-to-cloud synergies within a network of interconnected computing resources, as well as Agri-Food, Energy, Media and so much more…
