Data Week always transcended the confines of a mere week-long discussion, as it embodied a fusion of several local and international events aimed at nurturing the field’s growth. Each event delved into various topics that adhere to a core theme. Data Week 2024 will extend its activities and events over the year to accommodate the dynamic changes that data and AI bring to our businesses and societyconnecting our meeting days with other relevant events, emphasising the need for collaboration.

On 12 March 2024, Data Week will take place on the first day of the Data Spaces Symposium 2024, in Darmstadtium, Darmstadt (Germany). DSS 2024 is organised by DSBA (BDVA, FIWARE, Gaia-X, IDSA) and the Data Spaces Support Centre (DSSC). Make sure to register NOW, if you haven’t!

During the Data Spaces Symposium, one of the world’s top data-focused events, participants will be able to uncover endless market-ready use cases, discover advanced technology solutions, learn about the pivotal work of the Data Spaces Support Centre in shaping European data spaces and gain insights into the European Data Strategy.

Organised by BDVA, Data Week 2024 will feature sessions, panels and talks delivered by European and national level high-level speakers and leading Big Data Value and Industrial AI industry and research experts. We hereby share with you the Data Week 2024 agenda and we kindly invite you to explore the detailed 2024 programme.

Data Week 2024 will center its focus on the fundamental elements of Data Value creation. Artificial intelligence (AI) serves as a pivotal tool in unlocking data value through various means. Creating value from data also requires viewing it from an ecosystem perspective and fostering collaboration among multiple stakeholders, which lays the groundwork needed for research excellence, that is required to be rapidly put into action for competitiveness and societal benefit.
