Warsaw is set to become the epicentre of data sharing, as it prepares to host the Data Spaces Symposium from March 11–12, 2025, at the Hilton Hotel. This premier data spaces event, shaping the field, will bring together leading innovators, pioneers and top organisations to push the growth of the data and AI ecosystem.

Following the success of DSS 2023 in The Hague and DSS 2024 in Darmstadt, the upcoming edition organised by the Data Spaces Support Centre (DSSC) and the Data Spaces Business Alliance (DSBA) will feature cutting-edge insights, market-ready solutions and transformative discussions, setting the stage for advancements in data spaces across industries and continents.

As a DSBA partner, alongside FIWARE, Gaia-X and the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA), and an active consortium member of the DSSC, the Big Data Value Association (BDVA) will co-organise the symposium and ”Share data. Unlock Value. Boost Impact”, the bedrock of our association, helping shape the way forward for the data and AI ecosystem.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore ongoing data space initiatives, address emerging challenges and engage with successfully implemented data-sharing projects.

DSS 2025 will offer an extensive programme, delving into the impact of data and AI on businesses and society. Participants will uncover numerous market-ready use cases, discover cutting-edge technology solutions and gain insights into the European Data Strategy and the role of DSSC in shaping European data spaces.

As a co-organiser and partner of the Data Space Support Centre, BDVA will have a strong presence at DSS 2025, with many representatives from the community, the management and the operations team present in Warsaw. The team will actively contribute to relevant discussions in several plenary and breakout sessions centred on data value creation and AI and discussions on the transformation of the data economy, addressing business, technical and innovation aspects while emphasising international collaboration.

Throughout the two-day event, BDVA will engage with participants through its dedicated booth, showcasing its role in fostering data and AI innovation. As an industry-driven research and innovation organisation, BDVA remains committed to developing the innovation ecosystem that enables and accelerates the European Data and AI economy.
