KRAKEN's project prepares to pilot a personal data market platform
KRAKEN project, nearing its end, has developed successfully two of the three pillars of the personal data marketplace it is building. The two pillars ensure the privacy and confidentiality of data trading, using the Self-Sovereign Identity (SSH) approach and Secure Multiparty Computation (SMPC) cryptographic technology. Now they are integrated into the third pillar of KRAKEN, the personal data marketplace.
For validating the solution, KRAKEN is running two pilots. The first one will allow students to present their academic diplomas in a privacy-preserving way for education digital service providers. The second pilot is focused on health data, allowing data consumers to access high-quality aggregated data.
