The first Stakeholder Forum for the "Digitising European Industry" initiative will take place on 31/1/2017 and 1/2/2017 in Zeche Zollverein – Essen (Germany)
The first European Stakeholder Forum aims to gather more than 500 delegates for broad awareness raising, consultation and discussion on the action lines of the Digitising European Industry initiative. The Forum also aims to foster networking between all stakeholders in particular between the various national and regional initiatives, Digital Innovation Hubs and platforms.

The event will bring together the Cyber-Physical Systems, embedded intelligent systems and advanced computing communities across Europe and is set to reinforce exchange and strengthen the links between the Horizon2020 CPS projects, Artemis-IA, HIPEAC and the larger CPS community. The event will be a follow-up of the Smart-Cyber-Physical Systems Clustering and Communication Event held in Vienna on 14th of April 2016 and will gather 15 ICT-1 projects funded under Horizon2020-ICT-1 2014 and 5 new Horizon2020 ICT-1-2016 projects. The findings of the Road2CPS and TAMS4CPS projects in the context of a CPS roadmap and collaboration agenda will be put to discussion with the community.
Road2CPS will present the final Technology and Application Roadmap, which identifies and describes the relevant underlying technology fields and related research priorities to fuel the development of trustworthy CPS, as well as the specific technologies, needs and barriers for a successful implementation in different application domains.
TAMS4CPS fosters strategic EU-US collaboration on modelling and simulation for CPS. The consortium will present the Strategic Research and Collaboration Agenda, which has been commonly compiled together with US stakeholders and is supposed to lay the foundation for collaborative activities.
The final agenda and speakers will be announced in the coming weeks. The event is organised back-to-back with the ARTEMIS-IA Brokerage Event, which will take place in the same premises on 31st of January and 1st February 2017.
Big Data Technologies are very present in the technology roadmap document. It is a great opportunity to Big Data Stakeholders.

Big Data PPP Information and Networking Days 2017, organised by the Unit Data Policy and Innovation (CNECT G1), will take place on 17 and 18 January 2017 in Luxembourg Congrès in Luxembourg.
The aim of the event is to inform and guide potential applicants preparing project proposals, to facilitate sharing of ideas and experiences. It will give participants the chance to network and to find partners for their projects. It will also give the opportunity to the first Big Data PPP projects, issued from the 2016 call for proposals, to present their objectives and roadmap and to meet proposers.
The event will focus on the call for proposals H2020-ICT-2016-2017 addressing the following topics:
