BYTE will be hosting our project final conference on Capturing the benefits of big data and addressing legal, ethical and social challenges. The conference will include policy-makers, large industry, academics, civil society organisations, SMEs and legal experts, and it will focus on three priority areas for big data practice in Europe:

•         smart cities,

•         healthcare, and

•         environmental data

The event will showcase BYTE findings and feature presentations by experts in genomics, urban transportation, geo-spatial data, open data and linked data.
