Data Week 2021: Save the date 25th to 27th of May (online)

The Data Week is the spring gathering of the European Big Data and Data-Driven AI research and innovation community. This year, Data Week is held online from 25th to the 27th of May. It follows the tradition of the Big Data Value Summit, promoting opportunities, knowledge sharing and fostering Big Data and Data-Driven AI ecosystem development.

The 2021 edition of the Data Week aims at bringing together the research and innovation community working on Data, Big Data and Data-Driven AI, promoting opportunities for this community to grow and strengthening the ties with the Portuguese ecosystem. The event will highlight Horizon Europe and Digital Europe Programme funding possibilities and gives visibility to a large number of European initiatives and projects throughout the field.

As the Data Week wants to put the Big Data Value stakeholders into the spotlight, a series of workshops and sessions will be organised by the community members , BDV PPP projects and other collaboration networks. The Data Week 2021 is co-organised by DAIRO/BDVA and EUHubs4Data project, in collaboration with key members of the Portuguese R&I ecosystem (DECSIS, valuedate.io and Ubiwhere). This event continues the tradition of the Big Data Value Summit which took place in 2018 (Sophia), 2019 (Riga) and 2020 (online). Registration to the event will open in March.
