Call for sessions at EBDVF 2021 is open!

The European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF) is the flagship event of the European Big Data and Data-Driven AI Research and Innovation community organised by the BDVA[1] and the European Commission (DG CNECT). The event brings together industry professionals, business developers, researchers and policy-makers from all over Europe and other regions of the world to advance policy actions, and industrial and research activities in the areas of Data and AI. Every year we select from the community inspiring sessions, discussing the most topical themes of the field.

EBDVF 2021 theme is “Digital Transformation powered by Data and AI”. We approach the theme from the sectorial and cross-sectorial angle. EBDVF 2021 is structured in ten tracks. Five cross-sectoral tracks:

  • Data Spaces
  • Industrial AI and Trustworthy AI
  • Technology, platforms and impact
  • Deployment and market uptake
  • New challenges ahead: Data, AI and the new society

And Five sectoral tracks:

  • Smart Cities and Communities
  • Healthcare
  • Manufacturing
  • Automotive
  • Data-Driven AI solutions (any other vertical not covered above)

We are looking for sessions and workshops which can provide new angles to the current main topics of the Big Data and Data-Driven AI Research and Innovation community and have a diverse set of high-quality speakers. Succesful sessions will have an European focus, engaging the audience with innovative approach and coherent storyline.

As the EBDVF 2021 is an associated Slovenian EU Presidency event, part of it will be hosted in Ljubljana. The event is organised in collaboration with DIH Slovenia, ICT Association of Slovenia (Chamber of Commerce and Industry Slovenia), Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI) and the University of Ljubljana.

Being well-established community event, gathering yearly 600 to 2000 attendees, EBDVF gives an excellent domain to promote opportunities, highlight your work, present achievements and create new collaborations. All the EBDVF 2021 sessions will be streamed online. The hybrid environment of the 2021 edition guarantees even wider audience and exciting possibilities for live interaction. Don’t miss this extraordinary opportunity to present to and discuss with international and passionate audience, striving to push the European big data and AI forward!
