The revision of the EU Standardisation Regulation is a part of the work foreseen in Competitiveness Compass for the EU back in January 2025. It aims to address the challenges that are still present in the European standardisation process, like the responsiveness of the EU standardisation system and the impact of the EU standards on the international standards.
