Task Force 3 - Subgroup 1: membership
Mandate
The main activities that constitute this Subgroup scope and objectives are:
- Membership Strategy to define the optimal membership structure according to needed skills, sector and country representation and any other criteria considered relevant for successful execution of the BDVA activities
- Membership matrix & selection: Membership requests will be mapped according to membership expectations in order to have an overall up-to-date vision on the BDVA membership. This matrix will facilitate new members’ selection or will trigger specific actions to look for particular profiles that may still be necessary.
- Member proactive acquisition: BDVA will pursue active acquisition of members in alignment with the membership strategy
- BDVA value proposition for members
KPI for measuring the impact: Quarterly reports on BDVA membership status against initial expectations. The report shall also include (if necessary) recommendations on specific profiles that shall be proactively contacted and invited to join the BDVA association.
Focus and activities
The Membership of BDVA has grown over the years while maintaining a good balance in terms of countries, profiles of organisations and sectors. Active recruitment of Members continued in support of the transition from the Horizon 2020 to the Horizon Europe programmes and the changes in the scope and activities of BDVA.
