PEER scientific interdisciplinary seminar on Big Data Integration and Analytics, brings together PEER centers researchers and practitioners from different disciplines as well as high level experts from other domains working on data science, data integration, data mining, knowledge discovery, large-scale data analytics, and big data.

The inaugural Chief Data Scientist Forum launches November 16th-17th 2016 at the Hilton, Financial District, San Francisco and will be the premier event for high-level data science practitioners, containing essential content and new ideas to develop the leadership role for data science.
Attendees can also network and discuss their work utilizing data in an exploratory, scientifically rigorous manner to meet strategic and tactical organizational goals.
The webinar will focus on the key issues that businesses are facing today when using data, their associated legal challenges and the initiatives planned by the European Commission to overcome existing bottlenecks.

The European Population Neuroscience symposium is a Satellite Event of the FENS Forum 2016. The symposium is organized by the Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance (DRCMR; part of Regionhovedstaden - Capital Region of Denmark - in collaboration with CreoDK and the European Brain Council (EBC).
As an integral part of the stakeholder consultation process in preparation of the publication of the European Space Strategy, the European Commission has initiated an action to ensure the fully-fledged development of the Copernicus Value Chain. The ultimate objective is of the workshop is to obtain a clearer view of the Copernicus ecosystem as well as to properly identify the barriers to entry and key enablers for market uptake so as to allow the Copernicus program to produce all the expected benefits.
