Public consultation on strategic orientations of Horizon Europe is open

The Horizon Europe framework programme represents the largest collaborative multinational research and innovation investment in Europe with a proposed budget of 100 billion euro from 2021 to 2027. The European Commission invites participants accross Europe to help shape the priorities of the HE programme by completing the online consultation until 8th September.

The results of public consultation will inform the work to prepare a 'Strategic Plan' for Horizon Europe, which will then guide the work programmes and calls for proposals for Horizon Europe’s first four years (2021-2024). The Commission has engaged policy experts to develop studies, case studies and reports on how a mission-oriented policy approach will work.

A key event in the co-design process of Horizon Europe is the European Research and Innovation Days, 24-26 September 2019. It will bring policy-makers, researchers, innovators, civil society representatives and other interested stakeholders together to debate and shape the strategic priorities of Horizon Europe.
