BDVA new leadership

The Big Data Value Association held its General Assembly on November 14th 2018, in Vienna, in the context of the European Big Data Value Forum event. As part of the meeting, the BDVA members were called to elect over two-thirds of the members of its Board of Directors, and to elect a President and one Vice-President.

The BDVA General Assembly elected Mr. Thomas Hahn (Siemens, former BDVA Vice-President) as the new President of BDVA for the next 2-years, and Ms. Laure Le Bars (SAP, former BDVA President) as Vice-President. This change in the driving seat of the Association shows the excellent team spirit of the leadership team at BDVA that continues working to achieve its ambitions at the core of the data and AI-driven digital transformation in Europe.
