The second BDVA Activity Group meeting of 2019 took place on 27th February 2019 in Brussels and it welcomed 90 participans combining BDVA members and some BDV PPP projects. The meeting covered topics such as AI-PPP SRIA development, Data Platforms/Space, Data Privacy, AI/Big Data Standards and projects-BDVA collaboration.
Thomas Hahn, president of the Big Data Value Association, will participate in Hannover Messe 2019. The presentation of Thomas (“Industrial AI applications”) has been programmed as part of the Industry 4.0 Forum and scheduled for the 4th of April at 12:30 PM.
BDVA launches a new page of blogs on its website aiming at sharing interesting topics and opinions with a wide audience, engaging experts and interested stakeholders who are invited to post comments. On 11 March 2019 in Brussels, EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) is organising an open information day. The purpose of the event is to present the upcoming supercomputer acquisitions planned by the EuroHPC JU to interested stakeholders.

After the greatsuccess of the first edition of the BDV PPP Meetup last year in Sofia (Bulgaria), the Big Data Value PPP is happy to announce the celebration of a new edition of this event in Riga (Latvia), from 26 to 28 June.

BDVA organises its 31st Activity Group meeting with members on February 27th in Brussels. BDVA members, BDV PPP projects and European Commission representatives will join forces to progress on important aspects such as European positioning on Big Data and AI Global Standards, Implementation of Big Data PPP technical priorities, Next Generation data platforms/Data spaces, AI and other relevant topics.
On January 23rd 2019 BDVA organised its 30th Activity Group meeting, which gathered more than 60 participants in Brussels. Topics discussed included Next Generation Data Platforms, Data4AI, Data Spaces, AI, Big Data/AI for Manufacturing, Telecom and Media, and Big Data Innovation Hubs.
